Do you Enjoy Real History<\/h2>\n

or What Hollywood Dreamed up?<\/h2>\n

The April Question is: Do you enjoy reading and \u201clearning\u201d about the true history of the West? I love doing historical research. (I have a Master\u2019s Degree in American history.) I love reading eye witness accounts of actual events and digging into what really happened, not what Hollywood \u201cdreamed up.\u201d How about you? Do you have any pet peeves about this? I have some!\u00a0 Please l<\/span>eave your pet peeves here–ie, what have you seen on the screen you thought could not be accurate?.<\/p>\n

Tease: Did you know that from 1821 to 1846 that Texas was<\/p>\n

  1. a Spanish colony<\/li>\n
  2. part of the Mexican Republic<\/li>\n
  3. a sovereign nation and finally<\/li>\n
  4. part of the USA!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
