September 10th<\/strong> my next book A Life of Blessing will debut.<\/em> Blessing is the name of my heroine and she is a woman who is not afraid to step out of what is expected of women in 1848 in order to obey God and do what He\u2019s called her to do. In high school, I was required to read a biography. Fortunately I found one in my church library on Gladys Aylward. If you\u2019ve never heard of her, click here to learn about her. \u201cGladys appeared to be an unlikely candidate for mission work, but God chose her and gave her the determination to do the work.\u201d I\u2019ve never forgotten her FEARLESS obedience to God. Hollywood made a movie about her heroic actions in WW2 in China titled, \u201cThe Inn of the Sixth Happiness,\u201d starring Ingrid Bergman<\/strong>. And here is a link<\/a> telling how Ingrid Bergman accepted Christ because of this. So Gladys was still leading others to Christ after her death. Here\u2019s a link<\/a> to a book of her life.
