Hey! Today I have something special to share, a reader Virginia Archer sent me a poem she’d written as a tribute to her mother. Here it is:<\/span><\/div>\n
Hello,<\/div>\n
I wrote this poem for my Mama.<\/div>\n
Hope you enjoy it.<\/div>\n
Virginia Archer<\/div>\n
For Mama<\/div>\n
She was the daughter of a poor dirt farmer,<\/div>\n
….even so, she had her dreams.<\/div>\n
She dreamed of having a loving family<\/div>\n
…and they came true, it seems!<\/div>\n
She fell in love with the farmer next door<\/div>\n
and her dreams were now coming true.<\/div>\n
Married just a year, the first baby came,<\/div>\n
and she could hardly wait for number two!<\/div>\n
Over the next seventeen years<\/div>\n
…each one welcomed with joy…<\/div>\n
there were nine more babies,<\/div>\n
…four girls and six boys!<\/div>\n
When people asked, ‘Why so many?’,<\/div>\n
she’d just smile in her secret way,<\/div>\n
knowing she had a heart full of love<\/div>\n
just waiting to be given away!<\/div>\n
Times were hard…I mean really hard,<\/div>\n
but eventually the time would come,<\/div>\n
when they’d find just the right place,<\/div>\n
then knew they were finally home\u009d.<\/div>\n
Yes, she was the daughter of a poor dirt farmer,<\/div>\n
but all along she knew…<\/div>\n

even the dreams of a dirt farmer’s daughter,<\/h2>\n

really can come true!<\/h1>\n
