One doesn&#8217;t need to be Amish to face the problems that young widow Rebecca Fisher and Matthew, the prodigal nephew, do.<\/p>\n<p>Juxtaposititioned to the present is the old family story of Anna Esch and her sweetheart Jacob facing the challenges of being Amish during WWII.<\/p>\n<p>As Rebecca reads of Anna&#8217;s struggles to keep faith in a tumultuous time, she finds the strength to face the challenges of single parenthood and making her own way.<\/p>\n<p>I received an Advanced Reading Copy of this novel from the author who is a friend. HOWEVER, my review is honest.
