\nMy rating: 4 of 5 stars<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

I was always a fan of Tony Hillerman. It was with a little hesitance that I downloaded this book but I was happy I did. The setting of the Navajo Reservation was familiar but this wasn’t a pale imitation. Without copying Hillerman’s style or characters, this book had the same authentic “feel.” The characters were definitely Navajo but also human with very real flaws and strengths. The plot was also sound and I liked that it ended on a hopeful note. Justice had been done. The cosmic balance restored with the defeat of evil.<\/strong><\/h2>\n
