New Year Question: Are you familiar with this scripture? (I bet you are!)<\/p>\n

6\u00a0Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7\u00a0and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 New King James Version<\/p>\n

I think the key here to the peace we all crave is \u201cwith thanksgiving.\u201d So let\u2019s start the new year by expressing what we are thankful for.<\/p>\n

I \u00a0<\/span>know that that list would begin with the free gift of salvation through Christ and every good gift comes from God. So please what are the top three gifts God has given you? Don’t be afraid to be honest! Here’s one of the great gifts in my life. God has blessed me with several furry companions over the years who have been a true blessing.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s all start our year with gratitude and in spite of all the bad news around us claim our peace in Christ.<\/p>\n
