  1. SANDRA!!! Sorry I’m late, but soooo glad I came by to read your wonderful blog. OH-MY-GOSH … TWENTY-FIVE BOOKS PUBLISHED in the secular market??? How come I never knew that?? I mean, I knew you’d been published before, but I had NO idea you had that many books out, which is a total testimony to your humility and class. Of course, I knew that, but this just underscores it all the more. I honestly cannot WAIT to get my hands on Price of Victory, which after reading your incredible blog today, is a MOST appropriate title!!

    Hugs,
    Julie

  3. Thanks Glynna,

I am excited about The Price of Victory. I can hardly wait to see the cover they plan. Seeing the cover is when it all becomes real.

  5. Sandra — What an abrupt call to give up a dream so soon after renewing your relationship with God–but how wonderful that you listened to His leading at that time and now have the financial freedom and support from your husband to move forward again. I can hardly wait to read your Avalon release!

  6. Its a beautiful afternoon here in the Arizona desert. I just went out and picked some oranges off my tree. I like to cut them and mix them with walnuts and shaved coconut. Makes a delicious treat. Help yourselves to some Arizona sunshine. smile

  7. Hi Cara, It is amazing how the writing styles change as well as the interest in genre. For a long time there was no interest in historicals. I’m so delighted they have come back. It is wonderful to have books like Lyn’s such as Her Healing Ways.

I love your series also Cara , entitled Ladies of Summerhill with Thomas Nelson. I’m reading Love on Assignment now and love, love, love it.

I’m happy your grandson enjoys my books. That is a real blessing.

    Have a great day. Sandra

  8. Good morning, Sandra! I’m so glad the Lord brought you back to writing. Congratulations of your Avalon book! I love your children’s books and so does my grandson. It’s so interesting how the style and content of romance novels changed over the span of 10 to 20 years and how the inspirational market developed.

  9. Thanks Sherri, It is always amazing when we stop and look at how God really does pave the way. Feel free to share how He has worked in your life. I love stories that show His amazing grace.

  10. Morning April, What a blessing and confirmation that God does know best. smile. It is so easy to get sidetracked with what we think we want. But when we listen and obey as commanded, we do see that what God wants is more perfect that we can imagine.
    Thanks for sharing.

  11. Hi Marianne, Yes, hindsight is wonderful. And you’re right. Looking back helps us to have the faith for today. It reminds us that God will never leave us.
I’m taking a Bible study this winter about that very subject. The speaker pointed out that to build faith, look back at the work God has done for you and look forward to His promises and then act today on both.

  12. What a great interview. What inspiration you have given us all. I waited let to go to nursing school, was in my early fourties, but I obey my mother, yes my mother, who was dying. And thanks to God,do not regret a moment of the struggles and sacrifice my daughter and I endured. Perseverance, paid off and I enjoyed twenty one years of a career I loved.Although,I didn’t know,God and my Mama knew I would love nursing. That is what I was meant to do with my life, and was good at it too.
Your book “Price of Victory” sounds amazing and I have just added it to my TBR list, for which that list is growing by leaps and bounds. Also, enjoy Children’s books, I have four grandchildren, two of which love to read.Put these on my list also.Continue the good works and you will be rewarded.
Thank you for sharing with us your incredible story. This is an amazing contest also.Have a Blessed Day!
