  1. I lost one of my very best friends to breast cancer when she was only 45. But losing her makes me go for my mammo every year and I remember Angie each year at that time. I know I’ll see her again in heaven, but it was heartbreaking to lose her–too soon.

So glad you ladies are survivors!!!

  2. Liz, it’s nice to meet a fellow survivor. One of the things that caught me by surprise is the large number of people who are making this journey with us. After I began wearing a wig, hubby and I used to make a game of figuring out who else in the restaurant/hotel/store was also wearing one. I was surprised about that, too. One thing that I haven’t done is join a support group. I have to do that. The good/sad news is that I had two cousins going through this with me so we supported each other.

  3. Angela, left comment because I too am a breast cancer survivor. But it still is hard to say. That’s why I shall forever be grateful to the wellness house available to me, where everyone is a survivor or caregiver, and comes for a safe haven.

  4. Liz and Patricia, thanks for dropping by to see me here on Lyn’s blog. I’m sorry I’m just getting to the party, but it was one of those days at work. I think I was busy the entire day! And thanks for the well wishes and prayers with regards to my health.

Patricia, I’ve been pretty quiet about my health. I could never figure out a way to talk about it. Thanks to Lyn for giving me the perfect opening. I’ll be blogging more about it later this week on my blog.

  5. Angela, I’m stunned. I knew you’d been pretty quiet in cyberspace, and I’d missed your voice, but now I know why. Prayers for your continued healing and recovery. I lost my original copies of Awakening Mercy and Abiding Hope so I will look forward to getting the ebooks. As always, I look forward to reading your books.

  6. Angela, best wishes for the relaunch of your books in ebook form.

You are blessed to have someone on whom to lean during treatment. I hope all is going well.
