1. I look back on the later 1950’s, when I was a budding teenager. We wore poodle skirts, full skirts that “twirled”, A-lines, straight skirts (just below the knee)
   and suits, including hats to dress up especially for Church. We had school clothes, play clothes (pants or pedal pushers, shorts). No slacks or pants in school. If we wore pants under pour skirts because of cold weather, we took them off immediately at school. When I look back, it was a freedom in fashion time. Does anyone remember starching crinolines to make your skirt stand out? Lots of clothes to iron back then!

3. While many eras had lovely fashions, which often, but not always, made women look glamourous etc., I much prefer our own time. Unless you are so “important” that you need to be well-dressed all the time, most of us can wear what is comfortable and suits both our lifestyle and personal taste. It’s fun to get dressed up for special occasions, but wearing what’s comfy suits me just fine.

4. I would say the mid Victorian era. I liked the full dresses that were seen in Gone with the Wind. I am not familiar with a lot of the fashions during any time period. That being said, I have never been into fashion. I just wear what I like. All I care about is color and comfort.

5. I have never been one to care very much about fashion. I prefer to opt for comfort and dress to suit the occasion. I don’t feel comfortable in dressy clothes. It may be because I have never felt like I look good regardless of what I wear since I struggle with my weight. I think everyone should wear what makes them feel good and comfortable as long as it is clean and decent.

6. I love the look of the 50s, with women in cute poodle skirts and men in leather jackets. I also love those polka-dot dresses that were popular.
