I am an Erle Stantley Gardner fan, especially his Perry Mason works. This book was a little different because it went into many more of the legal intricasies and machinations that Perry and Della had to use to protect their client. The situation was intriguing starting with an heiress advertising that she was lonely and wanted to meet a down-to-earth man. Interesting, no? ‘-) And throw in a devious shyters and his ANGRY wife and whooooo– a great story!
