  4. My husband and I are opposites. He is a big talker, loves sports and he needs to be around people. I am much quieter, I am very content to be by myself and I love reading! We just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Opposites can be attracted to each other and they can remain together but love and compromise are the key! Thanks for your giveaway.

  5. We have been married 60 years in May. I was called Miss Goodie Two Shoes and he was a little wild. We met when I was 16, he was 17. My friends said it would never last. They didn’t understand. It was true love. Our Gracious has seen us thru.

  6. My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary in January and for the most part are compatible when it comes to the things that matter most. I have seen complete opposites get along very well and be married for a lifetime.

  7. Oh my goodness, we are so different! My husband is outgoing, vibrant with loads of friends. I am quiet with a few choice friends. I like it cooler in the winter tme and warmer in the summer and am somewhat picky about what I eat. My husband likes it cold in summer and almost hot in winter and will eat almost anything! We will be celebrating 28 years this May, it workss if you respect each other!

  8. My husband and I are so opposite it would be very, very, very difficult to find a couple more so. Our body temperatures are opposite–when I am horribly hot he is horribly cold. When I am a morning person, he is night–and that reverses without our doing anything but breathing. I am an outdoor person–he stays inside reading. I am a large picture person and he is a detail
oriented person, and then that reverses without notice. I have always lived a protected life while he has had a lot of damage
to his body because of sports and armed services injuries. I could go on and on but we are coming up on our 57th anniversary and still going strong. At one point I almost had a life with someone so similar but he was too much like a brother and opposites make for a more interesting life!

  9. I think that opposites can attract, but some basic beliefs must be between them,ie. belief in Jesus and commitment to each other. My husband and I are more alike than opposites and we have been married for almost 38 years.

  10. Yes, my husband and I are opposites. We’ve been together nearly 56 years, but we’ve had to work at it!

  11. After almost 65 years, I look back on our many adventures and I don’t think opposites always attract. I think they can, but not always. We are definitely not opposites, but we aren’t completely alike either. We have had so many good things to happen in these 65 years, but there are the sad times, too. But, we work together to work things out and always wind up on the same page. Love your books so much. Thanks for writing them.

  12. I never did marry an opposite but I think its what’s in the heart that matters. So yes I think its certainly possible.

  13. Yes, definitely opposites do attract. We’ll be married 50 years in July of this year. He is so easy going, calm and a glass half full person with a very happy disposition. When we married, I was just the opposite. I have always been on the outgoing side where he has mostly been shy.
We get up in the morning and start the day with a hug and a kiss and have done this since the day we were married. We go to bed at night doing the same thing only we add and “I love you and good night” to the kiss and hug. Times have changed both of us and we have picked up some of each other’s traits. Yes, most definitely opposites do attract!

  14. Opposites do attract!!!! We will be celebrating 24 years in April. Though I am 8 years older, he is the one people see as older?. He is southern through and through. I am northern with ideas that he finds outlandish!

  15. My husband and I ,married almost 44 years are definitely opposites. He is outgoing and very self confident, while I am shy, not comfortable in a group of people I do not know.

  16. My husband of 43 years and I are definitely opposite personalities and I do think that’s why we mesh so well. He is very outgoing, passionate about his family, alittle O.C.D. and very self confident. While I am uncomfortable in crowds, shy, my family is my world and I only have a few very close friends. When I was working, as an R.N. though I was confident that I was good at my job and was comfortable with my patients. After all this time, he still refers to me as his “bride” and I would change him for any man on earth.

  17. My husband and I are very much opposites! He is outgoing and sportive! I as opposite but our believes and morals are based on God’s Word!

  18. I think opposites attract do work. As for my husband and I, we are alike in done ways and exact opposites in others. We’ve been together 17 years and married for 10 years.

  19. My husband and I are polar opposites. He is the outdoors type and I am the indoors type. We met on a blind date. He proposed after six days, and we were married six weeks later. We will be married 34 years on September 21 and we are still happy.

  20. My husband and I are so opposite that my mother was asked by a fried if we actually got along. We get along extremely well and will celebrate 47 years in July. So in my humble opinion “yes opposites attract”.

  21. My mom and Dad are polar opposites. They have celebrated 55 years this coming May.
