What’d You Get Me That For?

Now for the story around that provocative first line. That line what my husband always asks me when I give him an unexpected gift. (No, I am not kidding.) The best example I can give is the year the Rubik’s cube became popular. He is a puzzler guy, crosswords, etc so I always gave him something like that every Christmas. So when he opened the box, of course the first words out of his mouth were: “What’d You Get Me That For?” I just looked at him. Because of course, the joke was on HIM. Because it was glued to his fingers for the next two weeks!!!
