  1. My mom passed July 2007 and then in December my dad (age 89), who had heart disease had a stroke and needed angioplasty and almost died. While in the hospital with my dad, we received our CHRISTMAS Blessing grandson #2 was born – Logan, who will be celebrating his 17 birthday next month. A good looking accomplished young man. On his 16th birthday, he got his driver’s license and pilot’s license. As a junior he is taking college classes and is looking forward to his birthday, when he can fly solo. Yes, God gives us many blessings. My Dad lived to be 96 and while not a Christmas blessing, he did see his great granddaughter Maddie. Another blessing – I had 3 sons and 2 grandsons, before Maddie was born in October 2013.

  2. My Christmas blessing was in 1976, my husband died earlier that year. We had four children and I hadn’t been able to buy any Christmas gifts for them, plus I broke my ankle the second week of December. We knew that at Christmas, we celebrated the birth of our Savior. But I was feeling that I wasn’t a very good Mother for not having a present for my children. The doorbell rang and when it was answered there were some high school students holding gifts for each of my children. I know that the Lord was answering my prayers and letting me know that He is always there for each of us.

  3. My Christmas blessing was when our third grandson was born December 15th. He joined his older brother and 3 month older cousin. We went from on grandchild to three in less than four months! All boys. We now have four wonderful grandsons and two granddaughters-in-love.

  4. One of my Christmas blessings happened almost 19 years ago. My 3rd granddaughter was born on December 22nd. That was the best Christmas blessings ever.

  5. my Christmas blessing was when a good friend played Santa for me & my daughter after I lost my job close to Christmas after my parents had passed away earlier that year.

  6. This may sound strange as a Christmas blessing but in 1986 my Father in Law had been in a nursing home for a couple years with severe disabilities and was in very poor health. The week before Christmas we took our daughter (who was 8 months old and we had adopted her in July) to see him and he always perked up when she was around. That day, he was more animated and happy than we’d seen him in years. He held her, talked to her and laughed with her. Then he asked to help him back in bed as he was a bit tired. We weren’t back home an hour when the facility called us back. My Mom came and stayed with our daughter and we went back to the nursing home where my dear Father in Law drew his last breath with us holding his hand. He was now with his Lord. A week later we celebrated our daughter’s first Christmas with all the family who came for the funeral. Bittersweet but with the love of knowing he got to spend a wonderful afternoon with his new granddaughter and then peacefully went home. A Christmas blessing for sure.

  7. I too have many Christmas blessings. I was adopted, not aborted, by the best two people on the face of the earth to be my parents. I was married to a wonderful woman who passed away 6 Christmases ago. We were blest with three children. I miss my wife but know by God’s grace we will be together again one day. Until then, I choose to remember the 36 years of married bliss.

  8. Every Christmas is special especially the last three years, because my husband beat stage 4 colorectal cancer. He is still my miracle thanks to prayers and excellent medical teams.
