  1. I liked a number of westerns. O n TV, my favorites were Bonanza (LittleJoe- Michael Landon was adorable)) and I liked Maverick with James Garner. Then there was Have Gun Will Travel with Richard Boone. Later, Kenny Rogers in The Gambler.

  2. My grandma loved Louie L’Amour books. My favorite that I read when I was younger was Lonesome Dove.

  3. I loved westerns as a kid and still do, but the one that has always stayed with me was the series Centennial, based on the book by James Michener. I watched that series and also read the book years ago. Truly told the story of the American West up until the 1970s.

  4. Bonanza and Daniel Boone, both tv shows. My husband’s favorite was Lonesome Dove. It was a mini series.
    I also like The Rifleman.

  5. I loved the Louis L’Amour books! I was raised watching Bonanza, The Rifleman, Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, Rawhide and Big Valley

  6. I loved watching the following TV shows: “The Lone Ranger”,”Roy Rogers and Dale Evans”, “Rawhide”, “Bonanza”, and “Dr. Quinn”, Medicine Woman”. My favorite western movie is “Dances with Wolves” starring Kevin Costner. Favorite western book is “Lonesome Dove” by Larry McMurtry.

  7. I grew up watching the TV Series, Maverick. My dad worked a lot of hours, but always took the time to watch this with us. Great family time and a great show!

  8. I love the movie Conagher with Sam Elliott and his wife Katherine Ross. I also love John Wayne’s McLintock! and Rooster Cogburn.
