December is coming–in case you didn’t know. GRIN When they start talking about the day after Thanksgiving as Black Friday, we know that Christmas is coming. (Or at least the retail side of the holiday.)

Her Healing Ways, the final book in my Gabriel Sisters series for Love Inspired Historical will be released the second week of December. And I want to give a few copies away!

  1. I would nominate my friend who mentored me in the beginning of my writing career. She patiently encouraged me, even though she and her husband were going through tough times. She has stuck with me through edits, discouragements and victories. Her name is Terri.

  2. I nominate Melody, a friend of mine on Goodreads. Although we only know each other from the board, she has made our board there so much fun, even through very hard times in her life. She has been so strong this year. Her mother has been very sick, she has heart problems. At times the family was afraid they would lose her. However Melody never lost faith in God's healing powers. She never left her mom's side, and even shared one of our fun Goodreads activities with her mom to take her mom's mind off of her pain. Her mom turned out to be a great writer in the activity, and a lot of fun to have with us :). Now the doctors say Melody's mom is doing better! She isn't healed, but this positive turn in her health is one to truely celebrate! It gives the family even more hope for their beloved mother. Not to mention this gift from God comes just in time for the holidays! Melody gave so much of herself, even when she was afraid, she push forward, and fearlessly took wonderful care of the mother she loves dearly. I would like to see this fearless young woman rewarded for such a beautiful display of love. I want to thank her for showing me, and all of us on the board, what the kind of love Jesus talks about wanting us to have for each other is! I am thankful there are people out there like this to daily give us examples of a Godly love, and inspire us to love unselfishly too.
