Happy May! I’m continuing to go down the list of questions my Newsletter subscribers have asked me and here is the one I chose for today.

Do you include bits of yourself/people you know in your characters?

Well, that’s an interesting question. I often warn my friends that anything they do or say MAY turn up in a book! (Well, I warned them.:-) But I also told them I’d change their name and appearance so nobody would know it was them! In fact, all my life shapes how and what I write about. AND interestingly, YOU bring ALL your experiences with you when you read a book! That’s why one person will enjoy one author and not another. So I never take it personally when people don’t enjoy my books! Reading is very personal!
