Time to Talk Cover Models for a New Historical! — 46 Comments

  1. The middle one gets my for number 2. I think she fits the look of the other models the best but I do admit that I might look at model one the most.

  2. 2 looks thoughtful and determined.
3 looks like she could be planning revenge.

  3. Model #1 is the most captivating to me because of her intense gaze, but I think model #2 fits with the series more because her look is more introspective.

  4. Model #2 has the same look and feel as the models in your first 2 books. Model #1 looks too modern, she should be on a contemporary romance and model #3 looks more like a mystery or thriller model with the deeper shadows around her and the look on her face.

  5. I vote for #2 to keep the same feel as the covers from book one and two. However, I am also drawn to pic #1, as she immediately struck me as someone out of a historical novel.

  6. I like the model in the first photo. Most voted the #2 but I think #1 is deeper and suits the book.

  7. My choice is #2. She appears to have a choice to make and seeing her hand run through her hair tells me it is going to be a difficult one.

  8. I like number two. She seems mysterious and Id like to learn more about her. She also fits the other covers most, in my opinion.

  9. It has to be #3. The title is “Journey to Respect” and she has a hurt in her eyes and yet a hopeful look, like a person with something maybe going to go right for a change.

  10. If a writer is publishing with a publisher, she has little say about the cover. I am publishing this book myself. I like to do both!

  11. Hm, #2 has the story to tell and #3 is very intriguing.
So my number one is #2 🙂

  12. I came here to vote for Number 2 and see that the first two voters agree with my decision. That model just has an inviting look about her. I didn’t realize that an author is given a choice about which model appears on their book. I learned something here.

  13. I think I really like model #2! She seems to “fit” the other book covers quite well in my opinion 🙂

Thanks for letting your readers weigh in, I love when authors do this! And also the giveaway chance.

  14. The image that would attract my “one click” is the third one where the face of the model predominates in the figure. I think it fits more with the previous covers.

  15. I am most intrigued by the darker haired girl in the middle. It seems she is thinking about something.

  16. Like the middle model best. The first one looks arrogant whereas the middle one has some mystery to her.

  17. I like the second model. She looks like she’s thinking about someone or some thing and can’t make up her mind.
