Does This Tagline Catch Your Interest? — 3 Comments

  1. Hi Janice, I think you misinterpreted my meaning. My characters aren’t rebellious but insistent on doing what God wants them to do. To love their neighbors (even those of a different race or ethnicity) as themselves.

  2. No and maybe. I believe God does not want either gender to trust or lean in their own strength. Jesus made it clear that when we present weakness, like a lamb, He will give us strength for a particular task. Strength of character is more important that a strength in “I care do this regardless of the circumstances” like a rebellious bull. The Old Testament says rebellion is like witchcraft. I personally do not want anyone to tell me that I have a rebellious, sparky character as I read in many Christian mystery/suspense novels where women FBI, police officers etc are characterized as strong women with a Superman attitude. Thanks for asking for my option.
