  1. Double checked and seem to be only Liz.

Thank you so much–and your husband too.

    PDF form, please.

  2. Giveaway day! I wrote each name on a slip of paper and put them in the lid of our Easter candy tin (still smelling of chocolate). My husband stirred around a bit and selected— liz.

Congratulations, Liz, I do hope your enjoy the book. Please let me or Lyn know whether your prefer to receive a pdf or a Smashwords coupon. I’ll send it to you by email.

Thank you all for participating. This has been fun.

  3. I have never read any of Dorothy Sayers’ Mysteries, but love mysteries, so you can be sure I wrote down her name and will get some for sure. Glad to hear of another mystery writer. Juanita W

  4. All right, I’m thoroughly hooked. I haven’t heard of Dorothy Sayers either, but knowing that she was a friend of C.S. Lewis (one of my favorite authors) has my undivided attention! I’m going to look up Cloud of Witnesses, so thanks for the nudge in the right direction.

    Your questions:
Have you ever read any of Dorothy L Sayers’ Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries?
No, but I’m intrigued and will look into getting into the series!
Do you have any place that you love to visit over and over?
Yes, I love visiting Cedar Point ~ the amusement park. I spent some of the greatest times there and such sweet memories! I only hope as I age, I don’t become sensitive to roller coasters 🙂

Thanks for the opportunity to win 🙂

  6. What fun to read about your favorite getaway places! They all sound charming and places with special associations for you. Debbie, since your favorites are in Oregon, you might consider taking in the OSF sometime.
Thos of you who enjoy mysteries but haven’t tried Dorothy L. Sayers, consider taking a look. “Clouds of Witness” might be a good place to start. Sayers was a devout Christian (a friend of C. S. Lewis, etc.) but the Christianity is subtle in these books. It’s there if you look, though and they are delightful stories.

Can’t wait to see who wins. This is a fun giveaway.

  7. I have not read Dorothy L. Sayer’s work. One place that I like to visit over and over again is the area where my grandparents lived when I was young in central Wisconsin. Though the home place is gone now, yet I love the community and the enjoyable countryside.

  8. I haven’t read any of the Dorothy L Sayers mysteries, but one of my favorite places to visit over and over is Abingdon, VA because that is where my husband and I went on our honeymoon. It is a quaint little town that makes you feel as though you have travelled through time to a simpler time and a slower pace. All the buildings are historical landmarks and in the summer there are carriage rides through that section as well as a band concert on the lawn of the Martha Washington Inn every night. It is just so beautiful. I would love to be entered in this contest–if I win I would prefer the smashwords coupon. Thanks!

  9. Enjoyed a number of Dorothy L. Sayre’s books and could visit England repeatedly. Never been to Yorkshire area, though.

  10. Have you ever read any of Dorothy L Sayers’ Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries?

No, I’ve never heard of Dorothy L Sayers.

Do you have any place that you love to visit over and over?

I’d love to re-visit the Angel’s Lodge rimming the Grand Canyons and then Wolf’s Creek Pass on the way back home.

These two books sound absolutely great. Please enter me. Thanks!

  11. Have you ever read any of Dorothy L Sayers’ Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries? No, I never have read any of her books.

Do you have any place that you love to visit over and over?
My husband and I love to visit SE Oregon called the Steens Mountains. They are a beautiful place in the Oregon desert where you can get away from the world and camp. We love it there. Of course, we love the Oregon beaches also.

  12. the place I love to visit over and over is the childhood home of my father in Ritchie County West Virginia. It is wild and beautiful & full of memories for me..
