  1. Jenny, my heart breaks whenever I hear of someone being bullied. Praise God for being the healer of all wounds!

Jenny, I appreciate you stopping by and for your continual support of Christian authors and their books. You are appreciated more than you know!

  2. Thank you, Kimberly, for sharing. I love the part where you mention that “time and spiritual maturing have been the biggest healers.”

McKenzie, the first book in the series is currently available on Kindle and the others will likely be on Kindle at some point as well. Thank you for the compliment of having them on your wishlist!

  3. Hello Lourdes! Isn’t it amazing how God can work through us on those tough issues? Forgiveness is not always easy, but with the help of His Holy Spirit, it is possible. Thank you for sharing!

  4. I know there are things that God has healed and it has taken time to get over it. I had a lot of bullying from some of the boys at school, its has left alot of issues so much that the main ringleader I still have issues with but over the past year when I see him in the town I dont feel the same fear I use to. In fact saw him yesterday as I was walking down the street and though my you have packed on the weight. Not the normal feelings. earlier this year he actually made a comment like you do when in the supermarket in passing and it didn’t freak me out. I think its God healing and me letting go.
Please dont enter me as I have read the books.

  5. It has taken many years, but God has healed the most broken place in my life. Even now, life is marked “before that day” and “after that day.” Mostly the effort on my part has been asking God to help me even want to forgive. God has done everything else. Time and spiritual maturing have been the biggest healers. I still don’t know why God allowed what he allowed, but knowing why isn’t so all-fired important any longer, either.

I’d love to win either book. I have them on my wishlist, but they aren’t in Kindle format yet, so I keep hoping they will be. 😉

  6. Jane, that is so sad that those within the Body of Christ have to stir up strife. I applaud you for your willingness to forgive and watch God work through the situation.

Thank you for your kind words about the covers. My children love horses too, and I was thrilled when I saw what the graphics designer at Whitaker House had designed for the covers.

    God bless!

  7. Paula, it is nice to see you here. What a difficult situation for you! I am adding you to my prayer list and am praying that the Lord will guide you and help you through this.

  8. Well Patsy, since I am a bit technology-challenged (lol!) I accidentally put the response to your comment in the wrong place! So, here it is again. I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Hello Patsy ~ What a nice comment to wake up to on a Monday morning! Thank you so much!

  9. Hi Connie ~ I so agree with you, forgiving can be difficult and can sometimes only be accomplished with the Lord’s help. I heard a quote once that when we don’t forgive, it’s like letting someone live rent free in our heads. You are so right – forgiving does lift a burden and makes each day brighter and better!

  10. It wasn’t until recently that God revealed to me how much anger I still had over a situation that I thought had been settled. With lots of prayer and searching I finally found the ability to forgive.

  11. Yes, Jane, It always amazes me how people who ought to know better can be so cruel to brothers and sisters in Christ. I’ve lived through 3 times like this in my life too.

  12. That is really a tough situation, Paula. A reoccuring problem is hard to get over because it’s never over! Hugs and more hugs. Lyn

  13. God has healed me of hurts at least three times in my life. Each one caused us to go to a different church. But it turned out it was all in God’s plan. As of now we are healing from hurts again from the same church. This time we will not return to that church. But God is using my husband yet and I love how my grandchildren are growing in faith. God is the one who does most. All I can do is be willing to forgive and move on and watch God work.
I would love to win either book. I love the one with horses as my stepgranddaughter loves horses. I see now they both have horses. If I win one, it will be reviewed.

  14. Hi Penny, good to see you again and to read about your books here. I have not read these yet but plan to. I have had problems in my second marriage over the years, I dont know that it has been solved as the same issue keeps croping up. My husband whom I believed completely when we first married started going on fishing trips after couple of yrs, I later learned the trips were to visit his ex-wife and they spent lot of time together. this was found out and thought it had all been talked out and was better for some years but several times things have happened and always involves the ex-wife. I dont know if he will ever completely get over her or why he even wants to continue being married to me, I try to let go but not sure I have or that God’s healing is there yet for us.

  15. Thank you so much, Lyn, for having me here. It is always an honor to be your guest and I look forward to “chatting” with your readers!

  16. God has helped me learn to forgive. It is sometimes hard to do, but with faith I can forgive and then try real hard to forget. This makes each day brighter and much better!
