  1. your book sounds very interesting I would love to read it I I don’t win I will get it from the library you write great books

  2. Honor’s plight sounds very intriguing. I’m sure I disappointed my parents, as I was growing up. There were times I made unwise decisions, and I know they were unhappy about those–nothing of the magnitude of Honor’s decision.

  3. Honor sounds like a wonderful book and I would totally love it!

  6. I was so engrossed in reading that I forgot that this was only a snippet of the story. I have never been in that type of situation but yes I have disappointed someone I loved.

  7. This book catches my attention. I have had to disappoint ones I love due to lack of funds – more so now than ever as I have a $ 1,122 spend down every month to have insurance and I cannot pay it.

  9. Wow, the excerpt really sets up the conflict very well. To answer your question, I disappointed my parents with my career choices. I decided not to go to medical school, deciding to go to grad school for my PhD instead. And then left that program with just a Masters when I realized that research was not for me. I know my parents were really disappointed both times but they were nice to me about it. The book sounds really interesting!

  10. I disappointed both my parents when I quit nursing school. It was a hard decision but I decided after 5 months it just wasn’t what I was meant to be. Ironically my son is now a nurse giving injections, one thing I shied away from when I was in school.
Would love to win this book to read and review!
