Her Holiday Family by Winnie Griggs
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Once again Author Winnie Griggs did not disappoint me. A very sweet holiday romance, set in Texas.
This time we have a woman who has lived one decption and then another but a good man and ten orphans land on her doorstep and nothing in her life will ever be the same again!
(Children have a way of changing things, don’t they?)
Ellen Pierce is the heroine, a widow who has felt cut off from the town after her husband’s death. Simon Tucker is the hero who was merely helping a woman move her orphans to a new house. But the woman falls ill and he has to make some fast decisions and the first one is to ask the local church for help. And Ellen who has never thought of herself as motherly is suddenly mother of ten!
I’ve come to depend on a sweet romance from Winnie and this is a good onebout love and how it stretches one to do the impossible!
