  1. It was lovely to have Valerie as a guest. Thanks for all the lovely comments, everyone!

  2. I am a Valerie Hansen fan of all her genres. Thank you for the chance to win.

I was baptized as a child in the small town I grew up in.

  3. Thanks Gail and Irene – and everyone. I am glad for the “Classics” reissues and also that so many of my other titles are now being made available as ebooks for Kindle, Nook, etc. It warms my heart to see continued interest.

  4. I’ve been privleged to read the duo Valerie has coming out and the other two books. I read Nightwatch and enjoyed it and understand why it won prizes. Threat of Darkness is even better so it should do even better. I like how it starts with a bang and you’re off to a wonderful story. Keep ’em coming, Val!
    Blessings,
    Angie

  5. Val has been a wonderful friend for years. We met writing for the same line. She’s an amazing writer and dedicates herself to writing books that touches hearts and changes lives. So glad you have the new classic release.

  6. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about your new book on Lyn’s website. Also, it was interesting to read about your affirmation from several readers. Congratulations! Isn’t it great when God gives you the opportunity to witness to countless people, whom we will never meet except through the printed word, and perhaps when we all get to Heaven.
    Keep up the good work!

  7. Thanks for stopping by, y’all. I’m a southern transplant but as the sign I made for the front porch reads, “We weren’t born in the South but we got here as fast as we could!”

Thanks to all who like my books and here’s hoping a few new readers discover me. There are excerpts of lots of titles on my website.
    It’s easy, just ValerieHansen.com

    Blessings,
    Val

I too was a child when I accepted the Lord into my life, I feel we need the troubles in life as well as the happy times to balance us-if it were all good, what challanges would there be…

  9. I love this genre of books!! Thanks for the post and giveaway!!

I came to faith as a young child, but the “trials of life help our faith to continue growing and staying in strong in Christ.

  10. I also love Valerie’s books – could it be because we share a name even though it isn’t spelled the same??? 🙂 I’ve read many of her books and always look forward to a new one being released! I don’t think faith protects us from dangers in this world because one, there is free agency so that means others can choose to make wrong choices that may hurt us; two, sometimes God needs us to learn things but if we stay close to Him, we will always be strengthened and able to bear what happens to us. He will answer our prayers but just not always in our time frame!

  11. I’ve been reading Steeple Hill Suspense for a few yrs now and I love Valerie’s books. She is one of the first authors I read, she helped hook me! I look forward to her new books, thanks for the interview(I love yours too)!
